Colt Cars Mid-West Expands
with Automate

Colt Cars Mid-West Limited, the
Mitsubishi Motors UK dealer group,
has successfully implemented MMI’s
dealer management system
Automate, across its seven UK
dealerships.
Originally installed at the head office
in Cirencester in 2004, Automate was
chosen for its ease of use and flexibility.
Now all dealerships, including Motor Wey
Putney, link to the central installation at the
Cirencester head office to give Colt Cars tight
control over the business. Automate will be rolled
out to further sites as the company grows.
“We needed a DMS with great CRM functionality to enable us to target new customers and retain old ones. To put it simply, our investigations showed that Automate was the best tool for the job,” commented Rob Ayland, General Manager of Retail Operations.

Automate has more than lived up to
Colt Cars’ expectations. Rob Ayland

the workload in the accounts
department has dramatically reduced,
even with the addition of the new
dealership at Putney. Also keeping
on top of the bonus structure and
reconciliation is a big job, but now
with Automate we have it buttoned
down completely – it’s a great
system.”
